How long does the ID verification process take?

We use Onfido, a trusted third-party verification service by Entrust, to verify your identity and help keep our community safe. The verification process is designed to be quick and secure, but processing times can vary depending on several factors.

Automated approval: Up to 95% of clear, high-quality submissions are processed automatically.

Manual approval: Submissions that are flagged for manual review will be reviewed within 3-5 business days. You will receive an email notification if you are approved.
 

Accepted forms of ID include:

• Driver’s License

• Passport

• Military ID

• Other valid, government-issued photo identification

  ** Digital copies and/or screenshots will not be accepted.

Factors That Speed Up Verification

• High-quality photos: Clear, well-lit images without glare
• Valid documents: Current, government-issued ID that hasn't expired
• Proper positioning: Document fully visible within the frame
• Good lighting: Natural light or bright indoor lighting

• Steady hands: Non-blurry images without motion blur
